Our local story
Licensed childcares within The Salvation Army in the GTA began as an extension of church-based children’s programming—an intentional response to the growing needs of families in our communities. What started as a ministry of care has grown into a network of trusted childcare centres serving hundreds of families each year.
Our locations reflect a longstanding commitment to community:
- Erin Mills – Established in 1976
- Mississauga Temple – Established in 1978
- Agincourt Temple – Established in 1980
- Brampton Noah’s Ark – Established in 1983
- Scarborough Citadel – Established in 1994
Over the decades, our centres have been renovated and expanded to better serve the evolving needs of families across the GTA.
